important statistical data

Roadside accidents, even though they’re not too high, can happen to any of us. Runners, joggers, and cyclists are in a certain danger each time they go out and do the sport they love.

According to the Swiss Federal Office for Statistics, in 2019 there were 203 people injured on foot, out of which 39 were seriously injured. Furthermore, injuries in the cities are quite more often when compared to out of the city.

The European Commission’s report “Road safety statistics 2019 - what's behind the numbers?” supports that too with the statement that almost 40% of all accidents in the EU occur in urban areas. Additionally, 70% of all accident fatalities in those areas are unprotected road users.

Running at night can be an additional risk factor. The Night Vision collection with its strong colors and strategically placed reflective prints will significantly increase the visibility during nighttime or bad weather conditions.

Stay fit, visible & safe.

The night and I

As almost everybody is getting comfortable, I am getting ready for my run. The night is fresh and calm, but within me, there’s a storm. I turn on my NightVision safety and take over my city.

Me, the runner.
